just_tomПочему я узнал об этой песне только спустя 34 года? Сегодня я услышал её по радио в исполнении Брайана Ферри и норвежского ди-джея Тодда Терйе:
Оказывается, кто её только ни пел - начиная с Тины Тернер, Статус Кво и Плацебо, а заканчивая какими-то немецкими группами. Википедия упоминает 18 каверов.
При этом оригинальное Палмеровское исполнение по сегодняшним меркам, по-моему, ужасно - здравствуйте, восьмидесятые:
